Well, Mr. Nitsche is busy painting most days; however, today it was at the dojo! So much was done today, impressive. The walls have the first coat of paint on. I can’t wait to see it all done! The ceiling is next, I think. It is going to look amazing!
They are finishing up sanding the drywall today and it looks great. Painting starts tomorrow with HN Painting! Mr. Nitsche and his business partner own HN Painting. We are so excited to have his exceptional craftmanship on full display in the dojo.
This year the National Training Seminar (NTS) with Sensei Iha is virtual again. Although, we miss all the wonderful things associated with in person NTS, we are grateful to have this safe platform to train with Sensei Iha. As many of you know, he turns 90 this month. Additionally, virtual NITS provides an opportunity for those who would not otherwise be able to travel for this training even to have this amazing experience with our beloved Sensei Iha.
We are planning on training as a group in our new dojo for this event! It will be our first major event in this space, don’t for get to register.

Yesterday, the first round of tape and mud when on. The place is coming along nicely. Next week paint happens.
It is so exciting that all the drywall is up. Next up is tape, mud, and sanding, in preparation for paint. The paint has been delivered already. We have a dear to us painter who is going to be working on it, Mr. Nitsche, along with his business partner. I am so excited that HN Painting will be doing this portion of the build out. The final product will be amazing!
